An Engagement Session featuring Tim & Kristin

It was so much fun meeting up with these two for their engagement photos!  It was a perfect evening with cherry blossoms in bloom and a couple so in love.  I look forward to being there to document the continuing love story at their wedding later this month.

Ashley | Class of 2014

Ashley came to me as a Senior Rep Model representing Hampton Roads Christian School.  She came out and braved the windy cold spring day so we could get some shots done.  Best of luck Ashley in your senior year of High School.

Here is another look into an exclusive senior portrait session with Trenna Fowler Photography.

Hines Family Photos

It was so much fun to be able to spend an evening with this amazing family in their home! We had been trying to decide on a location and finally chose to  do it in the comfort of their own backyard.  Here are just a few of my favorites from that session...

The Photo Chopped Family...AKA My Family Pictures

So, this post has been a little long in coming, lets face it extra time has not been a luxury for me lately.  Trying to maintain the house and our three kids by myself while my husband is deployed has been quite the feat and then throw my latest adventure in there trying to file taxes without him here....well, we will just leave it at that.  After all I still have a few more weeks before the tax deadline :)

So, what I've been wanting to share with you all was our family pictures we had done right before my husband deployed.  I had a good friend and fellow photographer who graciously shot these for me and then I edited them.  Let's face it though, my family is not the easiest to photograph, that is to get everyone looking at the camera at the same time.  I have a very strong willed 3 year old son and then my 6 year old daughter is autistic so anytime we go out to take family photos it is an adventure.  She did an amazing job capturing images in a sequence that allowed me to be able to create a family photo that we can treasure for years to come.  So, with much gratitude to her and a little vulnerability on my part I wanted to share with you my family's photos.

This was the image I used for our Christmas card last year and another one of my favorites.

The next few pictures I shot of my children this past fall.  I took these in place of those school pictures they try to get you to order.  After all getting great pictures of my kids was why I started down this road of photography after all.

For once he didn't mind having his picture taken.

For those of you who know my daughter getting her to hold still and not move even for a moment is almost impossible.  This
picture is priceless to me and I will treasure it always.

And then theres my little model always willing to strike the pose.

The Final Session of 2012...

I did my final session of session of 2012 the day after Christmas. Normally I would have been off but there was a family who had come all the way from Georgia to spend the holidays with their family so this was the only time to squeeze this in.  We were hoping for some indoor and outdoor shots but as the weather would have it, it poured all day!  But the shoot must go on...so I packed up my on the go studio equipment and headed out in the pouring rain.  Here are just a few of the images I captured that day...

If you have been putting off having photos done due to bad weather or just trying to find time to fit them into your busy schedule, give me a call and I can bring my "studio" to you!
